About - "You Reign"

In early August 2012 I was asked to lead praise and worship for a Catholic Diocese in place of someone who had cancelled.  It had been many years since I had led outside of my own church, but I took the assignment and counted it an honor to have been chosen.  A few days prior to the engagement, the chorus "You Reign" came to me concerning my own healing and, I also  believed, to sing to those who would be present.

I am glad that prior to the engagement I decided however the people worship would be fine. If some jumped, that would be fine. If some bowed their heads silently, that would be fine as well. I determined to have no preconceived notions of what was going on in their hearts based on what I could see with my natural eyes, which I voiced to the director. I am so glad I went in with that mindset because the response was truly God-inspired as one person after another approached me in tears, priests and parish members alike all thanking God for such a song. It was truly a humbling experience I will not soon forget. May God continually bless and heal the people of that Diocese and members of all represented parishes to be used for His glory!

Prayer:  "God, may I always remember never to judge the hearts of people based on what appears to my natural eyes."

"Judge not, and ye shall not be judged: condemn not, and ye shall not be condemned: forgive, and ye shall be forgiven" - Luke 6:37 KJV
